St Pat’s student Sam Steenson took an excellent third place in the sixth-class category at the Clonliffe Harriers Dublin Schools cross-country meeting in Santry on 2 October.
St Pat’s entered three teams in the event covering fourth, fifth and sixth classes. There were four boys in each team and to a man they ran their hearts out.
Primary and secondary schools from across Dublin took part in the annual event which kicks off the schools racing calendar each year.
Well done, Sam! And well done to all the other boys who competed and represented our school. Big thanks to Mr Skelly as well for accompanying the boys and organising our involvement in the event.
