St Pat’s competes in many school sports and our teachers train and enter teams into many competitions in the Dublin area. We enter GAA teams for both football and hurling Cumann na mBunscol competitions. We have basketball and soccer teams as well as an athletics team that competes in Santry and Leinster Schools Cross-Country each year. We also entered teams into the Leinster Table Tennis league for the first time in 2023.
Athletics
St Pat’s participates annually in the Cumann na mBunscol athletics in Santry across many track and field events as well as special races for athletes with additional needs.
St Pat’s took part in the Clonliffe Harriers Schools Cross-Country event in Trinity Sports Grounds, Santry Ave, in September 2023, taking the silver medal at fifth-class level.

St Pat’s enters teams to the ever-popular hurling and football championships every year. With Croker virtually in the parish the boys have an extra incentive to make it to the finals!
Leinster Table Tennis League 2023/4
St Pat’s has a very popular after-school table tennis club and for the first time has entered two teams in the Leinster Table Tennis League. Matches are played home and away against schools in the greater Dublin area.
