Ms O’Sullivan’s 2nd class boys have been enjoying lots of outdoor learning activities over the past few weeks.

To mark Friendship/Anti-Bullying Week (28th – 2nd), the pupils produced some lovely art work and read some books about friendship…
Ms Griffin’s 2nd class made a really fabulous collaborative art piece: “In a world where you an be anything, be kind.”



In Ms Flanagan’s Junior Infants the boys read friendship stories, coloured pictures and made a Friendship Tree.


Meanwhile, Ms Power’s Senior Infants were busy making these beautiful buckets inspired by Carol McCloud’s book “Have You Filled a Bucket Today?”

In Ms Quinn’s Junior Infants the boys read some friendship books and made a beautiful Friendship Tree!

Well done to all the children for their super work this week!
The 6th class boys from Ms Gallagher’s class created fabulous ‘Recipes for Perfect Friendship Cakes’!
Ingredients like a dollop of humour and a packet of kindness were used to create these tasty treats!
The class looked at the work of Wayne Thiebaud, and his use of tints and shades to recreate cakes in a similar style.
Well done, boys!


This week is Friendship/Anti-Bullying Week in St Patrick’s BNS. The children will be taking part in various activities/lessons related to this over the next few days. Stay tuned…!

Literacy Stations began this week for our three Senior Infant classes.
Ms Power, Ms Creegan and Mr Ryan were very impressed with how the children engaged with a variety of activities, including: word blending, handwriting, ‘tricky words’ and reading/comprehension.
