Cumann na mBunscol and the GAA president, John Horan, visited our school recently to commemorate past pupil, John William Scott, who was tragically killed at Croke Park on Bloody Sunday, 1920.

We were pleased to accept a beautiful tribute and are happy that the memory of John William Scott will be immortalised in St Pat’s BNS. Our 5th class pupils did a lot of research into the events of that day and used the old roll books as historical evidence in searching for information about our past pupil.
