What a week it’s been for the pupils of St Pat’s!

All the children have been taking part in their own class Sports Day, beginning last Friday, June 11th, and culminating today, June 18th, with the arrival of the ice-cream van to provide some well-deserved treats for all the boys and girls!

We have been blessed with both the weather, and with being able to utilise DCU’s fantastic new 3G pitch!

The pupils have been involved in a wide and varied range of sporting activities (including rounders, novelty races, tag rugby, GAA, soccer, obstacle courses, penalty shoot-outs, dodgeball, tugs-of-war and benchball) over the past six days, and we’re sure you’ll agree that the photographs below help to capture some of the fun, action and sportsmanship that make Sports Day such a hotly-anticipated and much-loved annual event in the St Pat’s calendar.

A huge well done to all those who helped to make Sports Week a success, and a special thanks to all the pupils who showed great enthusiasm throughout!

We hope the children enjoy a rest this weekend ahead of the final eight days of the 2020/21 school year.

We took lots of photos…Enjoy!
