You are here: Policies Enrolment Information

We receive many queries related to places in our school. Places are subject to availability. Unfortunately, we are not always in a position to offer a place to each applicant.

To be in a position to apply for a place in the school it is best to call into the school and fill in an Expression of Interest Form.

You can also download the school's Expression of Interest in PDF format. Please click on this link >>>>>

Completed expression of interest forms can be posted to the school secretary at the following address:

St. Patrick's Boys' National School
Millbourne Avenue
Dublin 9

What happens after I submit an expression of interest form?

Presently, priority is given to boys living in the area incorporated in Map 1, adjacent to the school, children of staff and also to children with brothers currently attending our school. Consideration is also given to applicants from the local Drumcondra area (See Map 2), and then from the area encompassed in Map 3 which reaches over toward Glasnevin, and then all qualifying applicants.

All those who have filled out an Expression of Interest Form will be contacted during the previous school year and asked if they still intend to send their child to the school the following September and to fill in an enrolment form. Once these have been returned and collated places are allocated. The enrolment process is set out in detail in the 'Enrolment Policy' below.

What is the school's roll number?

Language Classes:

We also host two Developmental Language Disorder Classes in our school (also known as SSLD Classes). These classes have a separate enrolment policy which is accessible by clicking here. Where you are interested in applying for such a placement please discuss the possibility with your child's SLT.
